Volunteers don’t need to have “special skills”. They do, however, have big hearts, with enough room for compassion for those in need, and the drive to help kids and families in tough times or who are suffering from bad choices — not always their own.

A not-for-profit support and counseling service for family members, friends and carers of those with alcohol and drug addiction: Volunteers are required at all three Joseph’s Corner sites: Yarraville, Laverton and Hoppers Crossing. Their role includes: reception desk, welcoming clients, providing refreshments, administration, working in the ‘op shop, some maintenance and ‘odd jobs’.
