Tasmanian Josephites honour St Mary MacKillop

Tasmanians led the way in honouring the newly declared St Mary MacKillop, holding their Mass of Thanksgiving the day after the canonisation on Monday, October 18.

The Mass, attended by big crowds, was celebrated by Archbishop Adrian Doyle at St Mary’s Cathedral, Hobart and followed a gathering the previous evening where Archbishop Doyle joined the Sisters of St Joseph to cut a cake in Mary’s honour.
