Mary MacKillop Centre - South Perth
The Centre was initiated by the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart at the time of Mary MacKillop's beatification in January 1995. There was a "call" among the Sisters to have a gathering place so that others could come and learn about this great Australian woman. It is hoped that this venue will be a source of inspiration, provide a sense of belonging and give healing for those who come to visit.
The Centre provides the following services:
- Religious excursions for schools to support therir Sacremental Programme, Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation Programme
- Other excursions based on Blessed Mary MacKillop - Australia's first Saint, Lent, Easter, Pentecost, Advent and Christmas
- Reflection mornings for adults on prayer and spirituality
- Professional Development for school and community services
- Seasons for Growth Training days
- Individuals, groups of all ages and bus tours welcome (Bookings essential)
