Listening
Even as Elijah heard the voice of God in the gentle breeze, so too can we ready ourselves to hear the creative Spirit’s whisper in little pools of silence amidst the busyness and bustle of life. We can notice what captures our attention in the place where we are at the moment. To notice where we are inspired and deeply moved is a spiritual act. Often, it is in the small details that we discover the gift of awe, of joy, compassion, gratitude - a spontaneous response to the whisper of God’s Spirit.
